The Ritter family keeps hives in Bayside, New Brunswick and bottles the honey by hand at its shop at 48 King Street in Saint Andrews, selling unpasteurized honey in 250 g and 500 g jars, cinnamon and lemon creamed honey, and a small line of soaps and balms.
Pure and creamed honey are natural honey, HTS 0409.00.00 on the CBP Section 338 list, so the Ritters' 250 g and 500 g jars have carried a 50% US duty under HTS 0409.00.00 since August 22, 2026. The shop sells from King Street, the Thursday farmers market and wholesale accounts across the region. The 250 g pure honey page adds "Our classic honey, filtered for a smooth, clear pour and hand-bottled right here in Saint Andrews, New Brunswick." Raw and creamed honey from the family's own Bayside hives are natural honey under HTS 0409.00.00. The soaps and balms on the same shop page are not on the list.
