Michela Carriere guides canoe trips and land-based retreats in the Saskatchewan River Delta near Cumberland House and sells her sewing and beadwork through the same site under the name Âski Beadworks: made-to-order beaver fur mitts at $600 a pair, a beaded pair in Metis floral design, and beaded earrings.
Beaver fur mitts are articles of apparel and clothing accessories of furskin, HTS 4303.10.00 on the CBP Section 338 list, so a $600 pair sent to an American buyer has carried a 50% US duty under HTS 4303.10.00 since August 22, 2026. Fur mitts are clothing accessories of furskin under HTS 4303.10.00. No whole pelts are offered, so the September 15 furskin lines do not apply.
