The company sells into that market through a dealer network and a permanent showroom at 220 South Elm Street in High Point, North Carolina. Four days after the duty took effect the Owen Sound Sun-Times named the firm in its coverage of the tariffs: "Calls to the largest wood furniture manufacturers in Grey-Bruce, Durham Furniture, in Durham and West Bros. Furniture, in Hanover, were not returned by the time of publication Wednesday. Both sell solid wood furniture into the United States." The Wood Manufacturing Cluster of Ontario, of which Durham is a member, told the paper that members exporting exclusively to the U.S. "are down by 40 per cent and restructuring."
