New Brunswick’s oldest private gallery, in a Queen Anne Revival house at 796 Queen Street on the Wolastoq, sells original Atlantic Canadian work and ships it: Molly Lamb Bobak’s 1947 ink-and-gouache A Day in the Park at $9,500, Yvon Gallant’s 12 tomates en train de mûrir at $2,500, Diana Baldwin etchings from $300, France Pillière’s bronze Les deux loups at $3,000, and Bruno Bobak printmaking, with ceramics, fibre work, photography and jewellery alongside framing and appraisal.

Up until now, it has been mostly just the economic uncertainty that has created a lot of an effect on collection and on the collectors’ ability buy art, both in Canada, in the United States and around the world.
