Samantha and Lloyd keep bees on ten acres at 1171 Lingan Road outside Sydney, Cape Breton, and sell their own wildflower honey in 500g jars, whipped honey and honey gift boxes from the homestead shop, along with nucleus colonies each spring.
The 500g jars of Cape Breton wildflower honey and the whipped honey Tuckamore sells are natural honey, which has carried a 50% US duty under HTS 0409.00.00 since August 22, 2026. The honey is theirs, off hives on the Lingan Road property: "We are proud to offer 100% unpasteurized, Cape Breton, wildflower honey", while some other items in the shop are bought in and labelled otherwise, such as cookie molds that are "Made in the USA" and soap "handcrafted from France".
