Dennis and Jennifer Seldon cut LEGO Technic-compatible building parts out of solid aluminium on a CNC lathe in Mission, British Columbia: 3-hole through 21-hole beams, 3x3 T-beams and 3x5 L-beams, cross axles from 24mm to 128mm, a 12-tooth gear and a beam frame, 28 parts in stock at $6.00 to $20.00 CAD apiece, each offered unpolished or polished.
Metal building-toy parts are toys and parts of toys under HTS 9503.00.00 on the CBP Section 338 list, which carries an additional 50% duty in effect since August 22, 2026, so a $14.00 CAD 21-hole beam or a $17.00 CAD 3x5 L-beam machined in Mission now reaches an American builder with half its price again added at the border.
