ArtAbaska cuts donated fur coats down into long and short mittens, children's mittens, city gloves, ear muffs, indoor moccasins and slippers, plus cushions and felt-and-fur insoles, each outer mitt made from recycled fur and leather over a removable wool, felt or fleece liner, and each pair named for the person whose coat it came from.
Fur mittens, gloves and ear muffs are clothing accessories of furskin, HTS 4303.10.00 on the CBP Section 338 list, so a 50% duty has applied to each pair crossing into the United States since August 22, 2026.
